Lonnie now follows her father George J. Savin Jr.’s legacy and has been focused exclusively on Workers Compensation Law at Savin & Bursk. Lonnie joined Savin & Bursk after law school and was excited to work with her attorney parents, Bonnie Bursk and George Savin, as well as her older brother Adam Savin, and her twin sister Lindsay Savin, all attorneys in the firm.

Amongst the typical workers’ compensation claims, Lonnie also handles complex uninsured employers fund cases, otherwise known as UEF cases. Lonnie handles cases from the time they walk in the front door through trial. Lonnie has experience and handles depositions, hearings, motions, trials, mandatory settlement conferences, and many other tasks and issues that are handed her way. Lonnie also takes on a managerial role at Savin & Bursk. She assists with the implementation of policies, procedures, and oversight of general office management.
